Treasures and Stories (“we,” “us”) is a wedding and elopement planning studio based in New York City. This policy explains what information we collect through treasuresandstories.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information you give us
When you send an inquiry, you may share your name, email address, phone number, what you are planning, your wedding date, number of guests, where you are traveling from, details about your day, how you found us, and your Instagram handle. You may also share information with us by email or phone while we plan together.
We use this information only to reply to you, plan and deliver your wedding or ceremony, and keep records of our work together. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
When needed for your booking, we share relevant details with the vendors who help with your day (for example, a photographer, florist or hair and makeup artist), and only what they need to do their part.
Services that help us run the site
- Squarespace hosts our website and processes the inquiry form.
- Google Workspace provides our email.
- Google reCAPTCHA protects our form from spam. It is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the site working, understand how visitors use it, and measure whether our ads are useful:
- Google Analytics helps us understand which pages are visited and how people find us.
- Google Ads lets us measure when someone who clicked one of our ads sends an inquiry. Google may also use this information to show our ads to people who have visited our site before (remarketing). Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to show ads based on a person’s previous visits to this and other websites.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Pixel helps us measure and improve our ads on those platforms.

Your choices

- Google Analytics: you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiry and planning details for as long as we need them to work with you and for our business records, then delete them. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing info@treasuresandstories.com. If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you also have the right to object to or restrict how we use your information, to receive a copy of it, to withdraw your consent at any time, and to complain to your local data protection authority.
Children
Our services are for adults planning their weddings. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new “Last updated” date.
