About us

Small weddings, the whole of New York

Treasures and Stories is a New York City studio for elopements and micro weddings. We help couples from down the street and from across the world marry in the city's most beautiful corners, from a City Hall ceremony for two to a candlelit dinner for thirty.

How we work

01

Clear prices

Packages are priced up front, and any custom request gets a clear quote. City, permit and venue fees are passed on at cost.

02

A real person

Every inquiry gets a personal reply, usually within a day, and you talk to your planner directly, not a booking desk.

03

Local know-how

License appointments, park permits, the best light at each spot and a plan B for rain. We've done it many times.

04

A trusted team

Photographers, hair and makeup artists and florists we know and work with, so the people on your day are proven.

A note from our founder

Why small weddings

I started Treasures and Stories because the most moving weddings I've seen were the smallest ones: two people, a few who love them, and a city that gives you a different backdrop on every corner.

Our job is to take care of everything around that moment, so you can simply be in it.

“Made all of our NYC vibey wedding dreams come true! We had the least stressful day… Coming from the UK having never been to the states, we were a little apprehensive but if I have any advice to anyone reading these reviews and trying to make a decision… DO IT!”
